NOTE: To search by Location,
it is NOT necessary to enter all Location info. Enter ONLY the most
specific location info that you are interested in, and leave ALL other
fields blank. For example, if you want to search for items in a particular
State/Province, skip down to #4) USA-State, or #3b)
non-USA State/Province, and select/enter the desired State/Province,
and begin your search.
If no items match this State/Province/Region, you may want
to try again with wider, more general criteria ... ie search by #3a)
USA-Region, or simply by #2) Country.
Conversly, if your search returns too many records, you
can narrow the field by entering more specific location criteria (drop
down the screen to a higher location criteria number), or by also entering
a start date, or a start and end date.
BE AWARE that calendar data in the #6) City/Geographic
Area field are completely non-standardized, that items taking
place in the same City or Area may have been entered in a variety of
different ways, so not finding a match to what you enter in #6) does
not necessarily mean that there are no items for that location. Try
again using a wider, less specific search -- empty field #6) and instead
search #5) USA-Area, #4) USA-State,
or #3a) USA-Region, or #3b) non-USA State/Province,
or simply search by #2) Country.
To do a LESS SPECIFIC search, make sure you clear the MORE
specific location fields by setting them to (blank) or deleting previously
typed criteria. |
