A worldwide Ruhaniat Camps and Retreats calendar. Select 'Calendar' in either the menu at the top or the Main Menu on the left side of the Home page (and most other pages).
How to find local SRI Centers, Events and Contacts: In the main menu you can select a part of the world, then choose a local region. If there's no listing for your region, and you know there is something to list ... ask your local SRI leadership to get in touch with us (email (Email link is encrypted. Search the Site: There's a search widget at the top on the right. Try it!
Great Links: See the 'Links' selection in the top menu. Includes web links for SRI Leaders and Centers, other Sufi links, Dances of Universal Peace links, and other resources of interest to our visitors. NOTE: To return to Ruhaniat.org after visiting a link, you either use the 'Back' button on your browser, or -- if the Back button is inactive -- there will be a tab on your browser or a task bar button at the bottom of your screen to click. We can set the links up to work either way; which do you prefer?
Login (site registration) There is no registration or login for users on our site. All content on the site is freely available to anyone who is guided here, whether by choice or by chance. A site login is necessary only for those volunteers who will be taking responsibility for maintaining events pages under the "Centers, Contacts and Local Events" sections.

A cooperative effort ! This web site is based on a Content Management System called Joomla. What you see on this site has been created cooperatively by Sufi Ruhaniat leaders and teachers all over the world.
Joomla itself is what is called an open source program and is continuously developed in that same way by a worldwide community of volunteer programmers -- it's creativity for the love of it!
Some other advantages of using this method to operate the SRI site:
- Security (Protected against most security gaps, e-mail addresses in articles are encrypted to deter spammers)
- Versatility (almost anything we want to do in Joomla, someone has probably found a way to do it)
- Continuity: created and supported by a world wide community of programmers and users, so it is not dependent on any one person or organization. We expect Joomla to keep growing, and last.
- Community: being part of a worldwide volunteer project
