In the recent Tunisian movie 'Bab' Aziz', an old, blind dervish and his granddaughter make their way on foot across the desert, guided only by Allah, to a distant Sufi gathering or jamiat. In our world we are blessed to have a far more convenient annual opportunity to get together with other mureeds on this path, for what is called the Jamiat Ahm. This year we will gather in Arcata, California April 8th-11th, for ENLIVENING PRACTICE, A Gathering for Mureeds, and Guests by Invitation, with Pir Shabda Kahn, Murshida Taj Inayat, Murshid Wali Ali Meyer and more!
