Deepening in the Beautiful Names

These are audio recordings from a series of all-day classes beginning in 2007 with Murshid Wali Ali Meyer and Imam Bilal Hyde, which offer some of the fruits of the Wazifa Project, that resulted in the book Physicians of the Heart.   The seminars were held by these two authors, sometimes joined by a third author, Pir Shabda Kahn, for dance and zikr practices.  These enlightening seminars were held during a time when the authors were immersed in the subject matter, as the book was coming into being through their inspiration.

A Journey Through Physicians Of The Heart

This course is presented in the form of audio recordings of 27 monthly classes, from 2013 to 2015 following the 2011 release of the book.  Murshid Wali Ali walks us through the book chapter by chapter, with his insights, practices, stories and discussion with a group of dedicated students attending the class at the Mentorgarden.   As with all classes, the audio mp3 files are conveniently grouped in zip files for ease of downloading entire classes.

A Journey Through the Ninety-Nine Names of Allah

Exploring the Beautiful Names through the Divine Opposites

A journey into Balance and Transcendence

Course Description

All the Divine Names, in truth, exist as relationships within Allah. It is basic to their very nature to be engaged in relationships. Therefore, we find it illuminating to delve into the divine qualities’ inherent relationships with each other as a way to uncover more of their meanings. Such discussions of the depths of meaning within each divine Name and family of Names, may ultimately lead us in a direction that deepens our realization of God.

Each of the three days of classes is comprised of over six hours of audio recordings in three two- to three-hour segments, each providing an educational and enlightening experience to the listener in its own unique way.

The classes move from walking practices and dances to oral teachings and back again. The tracking will allow you to listen to the class at your own pace, and return to portions that you would like to revisit.

The morning class was primarily taught by Imam Bilal, the afternoon was led by Murshid Wali Ali, and both teachers joined together in the evening.

The materials consist of eighteen sets of mp3 audio files.  Each set represents a portion of the talks, dances and other practices from one of the two days.  Each portion is sized to be recorded onto a CD in audio format if that is so desired.  Of course they can also be listened to in mp3 format on a PC or mp3 player.

The audio files are combined into zip files that can be downloaded and expanded into the tracks for the portion of the day indicated.  The album title, track name and track number contained in each file indicate the day and sequence of the material.

The basic format of each day was three two-hour sessions.

Deciphering the Sound Code of the 99 Beautiful Names of God

Two Day-long classes with

Course Description

The wisdom of the ancients may be found in certain languages stemming from earlier times, in which the meaning, beyond the conceptual definition, is carried in the actual sound produced in voicing the words...the sound code.

Each of the two days of classes is comprised of over six hours of audio recordings in three two- to three-hour segments, each providing an educational and enlightening experience to the listener in its own unique way.

The classes move from walking practices and dances to oral teachings and back again. The tracking will allow you to listen to the class at your own pace, and return to portions that you would like to revisit.

The afternoon classes in particular often include stretches of silence for meditation and contemplation, or for the fikr of a practice. It is recommended to choose to listen to the afternoon component when you can fully enter the space that is created. However, you have the option to forward your player to the next track at any time.

The materials consist of two text documents and twelve sets of mp3 audio files.  Each set represents a portion of the talks, dances and other practices from one of the two days.  Each portion is sized to be recorded onto a CD in audio format if that is so desired.  Of course they can also be listened to in mp3 format on a PC or mp3 player.

Course Description

These classes offer some fruits from the WAZIFA PROJECT - a forum where, for several years, Faisal Muqaddam, Pir Shabda, Imam Bilal and Murshid Wali Ali have met in rich dialog, unfolding the mystical and psychological properties of the Divine Attributes of the Nature of God in manifestation.

Deepening in the 99 Beautiful Names

For several years Faisal Muqaddam, Pir Shabda Kahn, Imam Bilal Hyde and Murshid Wali Ali Meyer met in rich dialogue, unfolding the mystical and psychological properties of the Divine Attributes of God in manifestation. The result of those meetings was the book Physicians of the Heart: A Sufi View of the Ninety-Nine names of Allah. The transcript of the following series of classes provided much of the basis for the book.

The classes include inspirational teachings, walking and breath meditations, zikr and much more.

Each class consists of three sessions, roughly two hours in length. The basic format of the day is:

• A two-hour Afternoon Class: Walking Practices and Dances led by Murshid Wali Ali
• A two-hour Evening Class: Zikr and Q&A with both teachers
